पुत्रा ऊचुः । पितृवाक्यं प्रकर्तव्यं पुत्रैश्चापि शुभाशुभम् । उच्यतां तात तच्छीघ्रं कृतं विद्धि न संशयः
putrā ūcuḥ | pitṛvākyaṃ prakartavyaṃ putraiścāpi śubhāśubham | ucyatāṃ tāta tacchīghraṃ kṛtaṃ viddhi na saṃśayaḥ
بیٹوں نے کہا: “باپ کا حکم بیٹوں پر لازم ہے، خواہ وہ نیکی کی طرف لے جائے یا بدی کی طرف۔ اے پیارے پدر، جلد بتائیے؛ بے شک جان لیجیے، وہ کام ہو چکا سمجھیں، کوئی شک نہیں۔”
