Yayāti’s Proclamation of Hari-Worship and the Ideal Vaiṣṇava Society

in the Mata–Pitri Tirtha Cycle

sarvatra vaiṣṇavo bhāvo maṃgalo bahu dṛśyate | śaṃkhaśabdāśca bhūloke mithaḥ sphoṭaravaiḥ sakhe

FAQs

It depicts a world suffused with Vaiṣṇava bhāva—visible auspiciousness and the audible markers of worship and celebration, especially the conch (śaṅkha).

The conch is a classic Vaiṣṇava emblem and ritual instrument; its sound signals auspicious beginnings, temple worship, and the presence of Viṣṇu-centered devotion.

It encourages cultivating an auspicious devotional environment—where inner Vaiṣṇava disposition is expressed outwardly through sacred practices and uplifting communal worship.
