न तत्सुखाय मंतव्यं परमार्थेन पंडितैः । मृतोपमश्च यः शेते सर्वकार्यविवर्जितः

na tatsukhāya maṃtavyaṃ paramārthena paṃḍitaiḥ | mṛtopamaśca yaḥ śete sarvakāryavivarjitaḥ

اہلِ دانش کو حقیقتِ اعلیٰ کے لحاظ سے اسے خوشی نہیں سمجھنا چاہیے—جب آدمی مردے کی مانند پڑا رہے اور سب کام اور فرائض چھوڑ دے۔
