स्वर्ग्यं यशस्यमायुष्यं धन्यं वेदैश्च संमितम् । रहस्यमृषिभिः प्रोक्तं प्रवक्ष्यामि द्विजोत्तमाः
svargyaṃ yaśasyamāyuṣyaṃ dhanyaṃ vedaiśca saṃmitam | rahasyamṛṣibhiḥ proktaṃ pravakṣyāmi dvijottamāḥ
اے دِویجوں کے سردارو! اب میں اس راز بھری تعلیم کو بیان کرتا ہوں جو سُورگ دینے والی، یش بخشنے والی، عمر بڑھانے والی، مبارک، ویدوں کے مطابق اور رشیوں کی کہی ہوئی ہے۔
