Brahmā’s Discourse to Mohinī

Harivāsara, Desire, and the Satya-Test of Rukmāṅgada

तत्पालयमहीपाल मन्येऽहं समयस्त्विति । एवमुक्ते त्वया मुग्धो राजा वै सत्यगौरवात् ॥ ६१ ॥

tatpālayamahīpāla manye'haṃ samayastviti | evamukte tvayā mugdho rājā vai satyagauravāt || 61 ||

پس اے زمین کے بادشاہ! اس کی حفاظت کرو—میں اسے ہی درست عہدِ دین (معاہدۂ فرض) سمجھتا ہوں۔ تم نے یوں کہا تو سچ کی عظمت کے احترام میں سادہ دل بادشاہ راضی ہو گیا۔
