Kāmodākhyāna
Glory of the Kāmodā Sacred Place

It teaches that the fruit of a sacred tīrtha is not merely physical bathing, but bathing performed with exclusive Viṣṇu-bhakti; that devotional orientation is what makes the promised merit uniquely attainable.
Bhakti is presented as the decisive qualifier: the same outward act (snāna) becomes spiritually effective when the bather is viṣṇu-bhakti-parāyaṇa—single-mindedly devoted to Viṣṇu.
The verse primarily highlights tīrtha-snānā as a dharmic practice (kalpa/ācāra-oriented ritual discipline), emphasizing correct intention (bhakti) rather than technical grammar or astrology.
