Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It declares Kurukṣetra as a supremely holy tīrtha where pilgrimage and sacred bathing function as a powerful prāyaścitta, freeing the pilgrim from accumulated sins.
By urging attentive listening and honoring a sacred place, the verse supports bhakti in practical form—faith-filled pilgrimage and tīrtha-snānā as devotional acts that purify the heart for higher devotion.
Ritual practice is implied: tīrtha-yātrā and snāna as prāyaścitta within dharma-śāstra style observance (proper place and act for purification), rather than a specific technical Vedāṅga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
