Yama-vilāpana
The Lamentation Concerning Yama
अप्रमेयो जनो नीतो वैष्णवं हरिवल्लभम् । आरोपयित्वा गरुडे कृत्वा रूपं चतुर्भुजम् ॥ ६ ॥
aprameyo jano nīto vaiṣṇavaṃ harivallabham | āropayitvā garuḍe kṛtvā rūpaṃ caturbhujam || 6 ||
اُس اَپرمَیَ بھگوان نے اُس شخص کو ہری کے محبوب ویشنو دھام تک پہنچایا؛ اسے گرُڑ پر سوار کر کے اسے چاربازوؤں والا روپ عطا فرمایا۔
Narada (in dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara lineage; narrator voice within Uttara-Bhaga)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It depicts the culmination of divine grace: the devotee is escorted to the Vaishnava abode and is transformed into a form fit for proximity to Hari—signifying liberation with divine likeness (sārūpya) and divine conveyance (Garuḍa).
Bhakti is shown as personally answered by Hari: the Lord Himself leads the devotee, grants entry into the Vaishnava sphere, and bestows a four-armed form—implying that devotion results not merely in merit but in intimate divine acceptance.
No specific Vedanga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyotiṣa, Kalpa) is taught in this verse; the focus is theological—Vaishnava moksha imagery (Garuḍa, caturbhuja form) used in Purāṇic instruction.
