Sūta (colophon/closing formula of the text; chapter-end marker)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"A calm, formal closure that gently seals the devotional-tirtha mood of the preceding Gaṅgā-māhātmya teaching."}
This is the chapter-colophon, formally concluding Adhyāya 43 and identifying its theme—pūjā and allied observances—within the Gaṅgā-māhātmya, emphasizing the Purāṇic focus on tīrtha-based merit and dharmic practice.
While not a doctrinal teaching verse, it frames the chapter as guidance on worship (pūjā), which is a primary expression of bhakti in the Narada Purana’s tīrtha and mahatmya sections.
The verse functions as an anukramaṇikā-style marker (textual structuring and titling), reflecting traditional transmission practice; it does not directly teach a specific Vedāṅga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
