Supplicants seeking refuge (afflicted by Daityas) addressing the Lord
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents śaraṇāgati—seeking the Lord as the ultimate refuge when worldly powers (like Daityas) cause distress—affirming Bhagavān as akhilādhāra, the sustaining ground of all security and well-being.
Bhakti here is expressed as humble dependence: the devotees do not claim self-sufficiency but approach the Lord directly, praying for His arrangement (vidhatsva) and protection—an essential mood of devotional surrender.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is dhārmic conduct under संकट—seeking divine shelter and praying with clarity and humility.
