Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma

विश्वस्तघातके चापि मृतवत्साप्रदोग्धरि । ददामीति द्विजाग्र्याय प्रतिश्रुत्य न दातरि ॥ ७२ ॥

viśvastaghātake cāpi mṛtavatsāpradogdhari | dadāmīti dvijāgryāya pratiśrutya na dātari || 72 ||

بھروسہ کرنے والے کو دھوکا دے کر ہلاک کرنے والا، مردہ بچھڑے والی گائے کو دوہنے والا، اور افضل برہمن سے ‘دوں گا’ کہہ کر وعدہ کر کے نہ دینے والا—ان پر بھی (گناہ/پرایشچت) لازم آتا ہے۔
