लवणे तु तृतीयायां सप्तम्यां पिशिते शुभे । आज्येषु पौर्णमास्यां वै सुरायां रविसंक्रमे ॥ ७० ॥

نمک کے استعمال سے (عیب/اشوچ) تین دن شمار ہوتے ہیں؛ گوشت سے خوش آئند طور پر سات دن؛ گھی سے پورنیما تک؛ اور سُرا (شراب) سے سورج کی سنکرانتی تک۔
