शाकले नगरे रम्ये भार्याहं ह्यग्रजन्मनः । रूपयौवनसंपन्ना तस्य नातिप्रिया विभो ॥ १४ ॥

śākale nagare ramye bhāryāhaṃ hyagrajanmanaḥ | rūpayauvanasaṃpannā tasya nātipriyā vibho || 14 ||

خوشنما شہر شاکل میں میں ایک بزرگ پیدائش والے مرد کی بیوی تھی۔ حسن و جوانی سے آراستہ ہونے پر بھی، اے وِبھو، میں اسے بہت زیادہ عزیز نہ تھی॥ ۱۴ ॥
