The Enchantment of Mohinī

بیوی کو شوہر کے مقام ہی میں رہنا چاہیے، چاہے وہ بے دولت ہو؛ کیونکہ اس کی قربت میں وہ سونے کے میرو پہاڑ کے مانند سمجھا جاتا ہے۔
Narada (instructional puranic voice; dharma-upadesha style within Uttara-Bhaga narration)
Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"bhakti","emotional_journey":"A calm, normative injunction about marital residence culminates in a reverential elevation of the husband’s presence via the Meru-of-gold metaphor."}
It elevates steadfast marital fidelity as a form of dharma: the husband’s presence is revered as inherently sacred, symbolized by golden Meru, independent of material wealth.
By teaching steadiness, reverence, and service within one’s rightful station (svadharma), it supports a bhakti-minded life where daily duties become offerings rather than wealth-driven choices.
Primarily dharma-nīti (right conduct) rather than a technical Vedanga; it reflects smṛti-style sadācāra guidance for grihasthas, applicable as a practical rule of conduct.
