The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

उकाराद्यैः पञ्चह्रस्वौर्विलोमान्संयुतं च यत् । तत्तदंगुलिभिर्भूयस्तत्तदिकान्न्यसेत् ॥ ५४ ॥

ukārādyaiḥ pañcahrasvaurvilomānsaṃyutaṃ ca yat | tattadaṃgulibhirbhūyastattadikānnyaset || 54 ||

‘اُ’ سے شروع ہونے والی پانچ مختصر حرکات کے ساتھ، اور الٹے ترتیب میں جو حروفِ ترکیب سے بنتے ہیں انہیں بھی لے کر—پھر متعلقہ انگلیوں پر ترتیب وار ان کا نِیاس کرنا چاہیے۔
