FAQs

It teaches the phala (result) doctrine of Vedic ritual: specific, ghee-consecrated offerings (dravya) used in homa are said to yield corresponding outcomes—fulfillment of wishes and attainment of royal favor.

While primarily a karma-kāṇḍa (ritual) instruction, it implies the bhāva of intentional offering—one approaches sacred fire with a focused sankalpa; in the broader Narada Purana frame, such acts are ideally aligned with reverence to the divine and dharmic aims.

It highlights ritual-technical know-how—selection of offering substances and correct havana procedure—typical of Vedanga-aligned applied ritual science (kalpa-style guidance) emphasizing material specificity and stated results.
