उदकैर्लिलितं पश्चाद्गलितं पैष्टिकं मधु । वृक्षजं फलजं चेति द्विविधं क्रियते मधु ॥ १७ ॥
udakairlilitaṃ paścādgalitaṃ paiṣṭikaṃ madhu | vṛkṣajaṃ phalajaṃ ceti dvividhaṃ kriyate madhu || 17 ||
آٹے/چورن سے تیار کیا گیا مَدو پہلے پانی میں ملایا جاتا ہے اور پھر چھانا جاتا ہے—یہ ‘پَیشٹِک’ ہے۔ اور نباتاتی مَدو درخت سے یا پھل سے حاصل ہوتا ہے؛ یوں مَدو دو قسم کا بنایا جاتا ہے۔
