Nityā-paṭala-prakaraṇa

The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala

मासमात्रे गते तस्मिन्निमग्ने रजसि द्रुतम् । संशोध्य पूजयेत्तेन गौडी सा गुडयोगतः ॥ १४ ॥

māsamātre gate tasminnimagne rajasi drutam | saṃśodhya pūjayettena gauḍī sā guḍayogataḥ || 14 ||

جب ایک ماہ گزر جائے اور وہ جلدی سے تلچھٹ میں بیٹھ جائے تو فوراً اسے چھان کر صاف کیا جائے اور اسی سے پوجا کی جائے؛ گُڑ کے ملاپ سے تیار ہونے کے سبب اسے ‘گاؤڑی’ کہا جاتا ہے۔
