Rādhā-Related Mantras Explained
nārada uvāca | dhanyo'smikṛtakṛtyo'smi jāto'haṃ tvatprasādataḥ | pajjaganmātṛmaṃtrāṇāṃ vaibhavaṃ śrutavānmune || 3 ||
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta (peace)
It highlights that true spiritual fruition comes through guru-grace (prasāda) and attentive hearing (śravaṇa) of sacred mantra teachings—here, the revered potency of the World-Mothers’ mantras.
Narada’s gratitude and sense of being “newly born” show the bhakti attitude: humility, reverence toward the teacher, and receiving sacred knowledge as a blessing rather than a personal achievement.
The verse points to mantra-śāstra practice within the technical tradition: learning the ‘vaibhava’ (efficacy) of specific mantras and the principle that proper transmission depends on the teacher’s favor and correct listening.
