Narada (teaching in the Vedāṅga/technical-vidyā context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
The verse frames a structured teaching of specific vidyās/mantra-prayogas whose stated fruits include both worldly well-being (wealth, health, happiness) and upliftment through disciplined knowledge (vidyā), indicating a regulated, sequential transmission rather than random occult practice.
While not directly a bhakti-verse, it reflects the Purāṇic method of channeling powers and benefits through authorized vidyā within dharmic order—implying that results are sought through reverent, rule-bound practice rather than ego-driven display, aligning with the broader Purāṇic ethic that supports devotion and restraint.
It highlights a technical-vidyā cataloging approach typical of Book 1.3: naming specific vidyās (Vahnivāsinī, Dūtyā) and indicating their ordered exposition and tangible phala (results), a hallmark of applied śāstric instruction connected to mantra-kalpa and ritual procedure.
