Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada on technical classifications of mantras/metres)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It preserves the orthodox method of handling Vedic-style formulas by naming their authoritative identifiers—r̥ṣi (seer), associated sage, and chandas (metre)—so the recitation and application remain aligned with śāstric tradition.
Indirectly: it supports bhakti-based practice by emphasizing correct śāstric procedure for sacred recitation; disciplined mantra-usage is presented as a reliable support for devotional life rather than a random or improvised practice.
Chandas (Vedāṅga of prosody): the verse explicitly assigns the Bṛhatī metre and identifies the mantra’s r̥ṣi (Manu), reflecting the standard ritual-technical framework used in mantra viniyoga (application).
