मदनातुरा भवनवेगा ततो भुवनपालिका । स्यात्सर्वशिशिरानंगवेदनानंगमेखला ॥ ४० ॥

madanāturā bhavanavegā tato bhuvanapālikā | syātsarvaśiśirānaṃgavedanānaṃgamekhalā || 40 ||

تب وہ کام (عشق) کی تپش سے بے قرار ہو جاتی ہے؛ اس کی حرکات تیز ہو اٹھتی ہیں۔ بھونوں کی پالک دیوی سردیوں بھر بھی خواہش کی تکلیف سہہ کر گویا کام کی میکھلا سے کَسی ہوئی دکھائی دیتی ہے۔
