The Recitation of the Thousand Names of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa (Yugala-Sahasranāma) and Śaraṇāgati-Dharma

Narada (in a litany of Vishnu epithets, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shringara
It presents Vishnu/Krishna as the inner support of the gopīs and the purifier of their emotions, teaching that divine intimacy in bhakti culminates in humility and total dependence on the Lord.
Bhakti is shown as heart-centered surrender: the Lord “rests” in the devotee’s heart, carries the devotee through life, and removes mada (egoic pride and possessiveness) so love becomes pure and God-centered.
The practical takeaway is the disciplined use of nāma (sacred epithets) for focused remembrance—an application aligned with Vedanga-style precision in recitation and meaning (especially śikṣā/phonetics and vyākaraṇa/word-sense).
