Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It sacralizes space by mapping the Lord’s fourfold manifestation (vyūha) onto the directions, making the worshipper’s environment a consecrated, ordered cosmos centered on Viṣṇu.
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined worship: honoring the Lord’s forms in specific directions trains attention, reverence, and remembrance (smaraṇa) through a structured pūjā.
Ritual-technical knowledge of directional placement (dik-vinyāsa) and diagram-based worship (padma/maṇḍala-nyāsa), a practical liturgical science used in formal Vaishnava rites.
