Narada (teaching the tarpaṇa/vrata-oriented procedure as part of Vedāṅga-linked ritual instruction)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames progeny as a dharmic outcome linked to disciplined ritual conduct: tarpaṇa performed with sattvic offerings is presented as a sanctioned means to seek a son within the household-ritual framework.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent, orderly offering—tarpaṇa done with pure foods and faith—showing devotion through ritual sincerity rather than abstract philosophy.
It highlights applied Kalpa (ritual procedure): specifying substances for tarpaṇa and the intended result, reflecting technical ritual instruction typical of Book 1.3’s Vedāṅga-oriented material.
