Narada (teaching technical/medical applications within Book 1.3)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It presents dharmic “prayoga” knowledge—how sacred tradition preserves practical, body-supporting disciplines alongside spiritual instruction, treating health as a support for sadhana.
Indirectly: by prescribing care for speech and the mouth (the instruments of japa, kirtana, and recitation), it supports devotional practices that depend on a healthy capacity to chant and study.
Applied technical instruction (prayoga) using recognized substances—sesame oil and goat-milk ghee—showing a tradition of procedural knowledge aligned with the Purana’s Third Pada focus on technical sciences.
