sanatkumāra uvāca | atha rāmasya manavo vakṣyaṃte siddhidāyakāḥ | yeṣāmārādhanānmartyāstaraṃti bhavasāgaram || 1 ||
Sanatkumara
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It introduces Rāma-mantras as a direct means of upāsanā (devotional worship) that grants siddhi and enables liberation-oriented progress—symbolized by “crossing the ocean of saṃsāra.”
Bhakti is presented as mantra-based ārādhanā (loving propitiation): by worshipping Rāma through sacred formulas, the devotee is carried beyond worldly bondage.
The verse points to mantra-prayoga (practical application of mantras)—a technical discipline supported by Vedāṅga tools like śikṣā (correct pronunciation) and vyākaraṇa (accurate word-forms) to preserve efficacy in recitation.
