रूपेणोत्तिष्ठ चोत्तिष्ठ अविद्यानिचयं दह । दहज्ञानैश्वर्यमन्ते प्रकाशययुगं ततः ॥ १७३ ॥
rūpeṇottiṣṭha cottiṣṭha avidyānicayaṃ daha | dahajñānaiśvaryamante prakāśayayugaṃ tataḥ || 173 ||
اپنے سچے روپ میں اٹھو—اٹھو، جاگو! جہالت کے جمع شدہ ڈھیر کو جلا دو۔ آگِ معرفت سے اقتدارِ روحانی کو بھڑکا دو، پھر اسی نور سے یُگ (جہان) کو روشن کر دو۔

It commands an awakening into one’s real nature and the deliberate destruction of avidyā (ignorance), culminating in jñāna-born sovereignty—inner clarity that naturally radiates outward as guidance and benefit to the world.
While stated in jñāna-language, it supports bhakti by insisting on removing ignorance that veils the Divine; when avidyā is burned, devotion becomes steady and luminous, expressing itself as service and spiritual upliftment of others.
It points to the Vedanga spirit of disciplined study and application—using śāstra-grounded knowledge (especially vyākaraṇa/śikṣā-style clarity and correct understanding) to remove confusion and establish mastery that can instruct and illuminate others.
