vahnipriyānto mantrastu rakṣārthe samudāhṛtaḥ | athavā rāmamantrānte paraṃ kṣadvitayaṃ paṭhet || 113 ||
‘وَہنی پریا’ پر ختم ہونے والا منتر حفاظت کے لیے بتایا گیا ہے۔ یا رام منتر کے آخر میں ‘کْشَ’ حرف دو بار پڑھا جائے۔
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within Vedanga/Mantra-vidhi discussion)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a practical rakṣā-prayoga: protection is strengthened either by a specific mantra-ending (“vahnipriyā”) or by appending a focused akṣara-recitation (“kṣa” twice) to the Rāma-mantra.
By centering the practice on the Rāma-mantra, it frames protection as arising from devotion expressed through disciplined japa and correct mantra-application.
It highlights mantra-prayoga (technical application of mantras): the importance of mantra-anta (ending), prescribed additions, and precise akṣara-recitation as part of ritual/phonetic correctness.
