Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: Bhauma-vrata (Tuesday vow related to Bhauma/Maṅgala)
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames progeny-seeking (putra-kāmanā) within vrata-dharma, teaching that disciplined observance—aligned with sacred calendrical timing—supports desired life-goals while keeping action rooted in dharma.
Although it is a ritual instruction, the emphasis on vrata (vowed discipline) implies steady devotional intent—regular worship and self-restraint—through which a seeker approaches the deity/planetary principle with faith and reverence.
Jyotiṣa (Vedic calendrics/astrology) is highlighted: the verse specifies auspicious months (Mārgaśīrṣa, Vaiśākha) for initiating a Tuesday (Bhauma/Maṅgala) vrata, showing how timing is integrated into ritual practice.
