Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches śauca (ritual purity) as a prerequisite for worship: both the practitioner and the sacrificial articles are sanctified by consecrated water through prokṣaṇa.
It frames devotion as disciplined worship—bhakti expressed through careful preparation, where the devotee purifies body and offerings so the act of worship becomes fit and focused.
Kalpa-vidhi (ritual procedure) is highlighted—specifically the use of the prokṣiṇī and the step-by-step sprinkling (saṁprokṣaṇa) of the performer and the yāga materials.
