Narada (in an instructional passage on mantra-vidhi, addressing the procedure to be followed by the practitioner)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that sincere surrender—acknowledging one’s lack of ritual expertise and taking the Supreme Lord as the only refuge—makes mantra-practice spiritually effective.
Bhakti is shown as humility and dependence on God’s grace: even without perfect pūjā-knowledge, the devotee approaches the Lord as gati (final refuge) and completes the mantra with prayerful recitation.
It highlights ritual-technical procedure in mantra-vidhi—specifically the practice of appending/reciting a śloka at the mūlānta (conclusion of the root-mantra), reflecting applied discipline akin to kalpa-style ritual method.
