गङ्गामाहात्म्य — The Greatness of the Gaṅgā
और्व उवाच । एका वंशधरं चैकमन्या षडयुतानि च । अपत्यार्थं महाभागे वृणुतां च यथेप्सितम् ॥ ६७ ॥
aurva uvāca | ekā vaṃśadharaṃ caikamanyā ṣaḍayutāni ca | apatyārthaṃ mahābhāge vṛṇutāṃ ca yathepsitam || 67 ||
اَورْوَ نے کہا—اے نیک بخت خاتون! ایک گائے تمہیں نسل کو قائم رکھنے والا ایک بیٹا دے گی، اور دوسری چھ ہزار بیٹے دے گی۔ اولاد کی خاطر جیسا تم چاہو ویسا انتخاب کرو۔
