Narada (teaching ritual procedure within the dialogue tradition of Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that honoring the devas begins with a proper “āsana” (seat-offering) and that devotion in ritual is expressed through repeated, attentive giving—moment by moment—rather than a single perfunctory act.
Bhakti here is shown as sustained reverence: repeatedly offering with mindfulness (“kṣaṇa-pratīkṣaṇam”) cultivates continuous remembrance and respect toward the divine assembly (Viśve Devāḥ).
It reflects Kalpa (ritual procedure): the correct materials (yava, darbha), the offering formula (“dattva iti”), and the disciplined repetition of offerings within a daiva rite.
