Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 65

Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama

आतुराणां तु रोगाद्यैः पांथानां च सकृन्मतम् । ब्रह्मयज्ञं ततः कुर्याद्दर्भपाणिर्मुनीश्वर ॥ ६५ ॥

āturāṇāṃ tu rogādyaiḥ pāṃthānāṃ ca sakṛnmatam | brahmayajñaṃ tataḥ kuryāddarbhapāṇirmunīśvara || 65 ||

بیماری وغیرہ سے مبتلا لوگوں اور مسافروں کے لیے (برہمیَجْن) ایک ہی بار کرنا مقرر ہے۔ لہٰذا، اے مونیश्वर، ہاتھ میں دربھ لے کر برہمیَجْن ادا کرے۔
