Sūta (narrator) introducing the episode within the Purāṇic discourse
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames the teaching as a guru–disciple/father–son dialogue and highlights satya (truth) as a foundational dharmic virtue embodied by the sage Gālava.
While not explicitly naming bhakti, it sets a dharmic ground—truthfulness and integrity—without which Vishnu-bhakti and other spiritual disciplines in the Narada Purana are considered unstable.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this line; it functions as an anubandha-style narrative introduction (context-setting) to a didactic dialogue.
