जुहुयात्पायसं चैव साज्यमष्टोत्तरं शतम् । प्रथमं पौरुषं सूक्तं विष्णोर्नुकमिरावतीम् ॥ १४ ॥

juhuyātpāyasaṃ caiva sājyamaṣṭottaraṃ śatam | prathamaṃ pauruṣaṃ sūktaṃ viṣṇornukamirāvatīm || 14 ||

گھی ملا پَایَس اگنی میں ایک سو آٹھ آہوتیوں کے طور پر چڑھائے؛ اور ابتدا میں پُرُش سُوکت، وِشنو کی ستوتی کے منتر اور ‘ایراوتی’ نامی سوکت کا پاٹھ کرے۔
