Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā

गतपापान्स विज्ञाय यमः सगरसम्भवान् । प्रणम्याभ्यर्च्य विधिवत्प्राह तान्प्रीतमानसः ॥ ११२ ॥

gatapāpānsa vijñāya yamaḥ sagarasambhavān | praṇamyābhyarcya vidhivatprāha tānprītamānasaḥ || 112 ||

جب یم نے جان لیا کہ سگر کے پُتر گناہوں سے پاک ہو چکے ہیں تو وہ خوش دل ہوا؛ اس نے دستور کے مطابق انہیں سجدۂ تعظیم کیا، پوجا کی، پھر ان سے مخاطب ہوا۔
