Narration of Dharma

परमात्मा जगन्नाथः सर्वकर्म्मफलप्रदः । सत्कर्मकर्तृभिर्नित्यं स्मृतः सर्वार्तिनाशनः । तमुद्दिश्य कृतं यच्च तदानन्त्याय कल्पते ॥ १५२ ॥

paramātmā jagannāthaḥ sarvakarmmaphalapradaḥ | satkarmakartṛbhirnityaṃ smṛtaḥ sarvārtināśanaḥ | tamuddiśya kṛtaṃ yacca tadānantyāya kalpate || 152 ||

پرَماتما جگن ناتھ تمام اعمال کے پھل عطا کرنے والے ہیں۔ نیک عمل کرنے والے انہیں ہمیشہ یاد کرتے ہیں؛ وہ ہر رنج و آفت کو مٹا دیتے ہیں۔ جس کام میں انہیں مقصود بنایا جائے وہ لافانی، بے پایاں پُنّیہ کا سبب بنتا ہے۔

It teaches that the Supreme Lord (Jagannatha/Paramatma) governs karma-phala and that remembrance of Him removes distress; most importantly, actions dedicated to Him gain imperishable, limitless spiritual merit.

Bhakti is shown through nitya-smaraṇa (constant remembrance) and offering one’s deeds to the Lord (tam uddiśya). The verse frames devotion not only as worship but as dedicating all righteous conduct to Vishnu as the inner goal.
