प्रवर्षणं सस्यवृद्धिः क्षेमं हौताशपर्वणि । अनावृष्टिः सस्यहानिर्दुर्भिक्षं याम्यपर्वणि ॥ ८५ ॥
pravarṣaṇaṃ sasyavṛddhiḥ kṣemaṃ hautāśaparvaṇi | anāvṛṣṭiḥ sasyahānirdurbhikṣaṃ yāmyaparvaṇi || 85 ||
ہوتاش (اگنی) پَروَن میں خوب بارش، فصلوں کی افزائش اور عام عافیت ہوتی ہے۔ مگر یامیہ (یَم) پَروَن میں بے بارانی، فصلوں کا نقصان اور قحط (دُربھِکش) ہوتا ہے۔

It links cosmic time (parvan) with worldly outcomes, teaching that dharmic life includes reading time-signs and aligning conduct and rites with auspicious periods while remaining inwardly steady in mokṣa-oriented discipline.
Though the verse is technical (omens of parvan), it supports bhakti practice indirectly: devotees time offerings, fasts, and fire-related rites on auspicious junctions (Agni-related) and respond to adverse periods (Yama-related) with increased prayer, charity, and restraint rather than despair.
