Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules

पक्षं पक्षार्धमर्केन्दु परिविष्टावहर्निशम् । राजानमन्यं कुरुतो लोहिताम्बुदयास्तगौ ॥ १६ ॥

pakṣaṃ pakṣārdhamarkendu pariviṣṭāvaharniśam | rājānamanyaṃ kuruto lohitāmbudayāstagau || 16 ||

سورج اور چاند اپنے اپنے مقررہ مدار میں چلتے ہوئے پکھواڑے، نیم پکھواڑے اور دن و رات کی صورت میں زمانے کی پیمائش پیدا کرتے ہیں۔ نیز اپنے سرخی مائل طلوع و غروب سے وہ حکمرانوں کی یکے بعد دیگرے تبدیلی، یعنی اقتدار کی گردش بھی ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔
