Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames astrological outcomes as karmic effects that can be refined through dharmic action—specifically, reverent worship of the grahas—so that one’s life is aligned toward inner purification rather than fatalism.
Even in a technical Jyotisha context, the verse points to upāsanā (worship) as the means to transform results; devotion becomes the practical tool for harmonizing one’s experiences with divine order.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga: it refers to dividing a graha-bhukti (planetary period) into fractional components (kalā-ādi) and applying graha-ārādhana/graha-śānti to purify the predicted effects.
