विलोमगतयः पातास्तद्वञ्चक्राष्विशोधिताः । योजनानि शतान्यष्टौ भूकर्णौ द्विगुणाः स्मृतः ॥ ८३ ॥
vilomagatayaḥ pātāstadvañcakrāṣviśodhitāḥ | yojanāni śatānyaṣṭau bhūkarṇau dviguṇāḥ smṛtaḥ || 83 ||
پاتال کے علاقوں کی حرکتیں الٹی (مخالف) کہی گئی ہیں، اور وہاں فریب دینے والے چکر غیر مُصفّى (بھٹکانے والے) رہتے ہیں۔ ‘بھُو-کَرن’ کی مقدار آٹھ سو یوجن یاد کی گئی ہے، اور اس کے بعد والی مقدار اس کی دوگنی بتائی گئی ہے۔
