भुजकोटिकृतियोगमूलं कर्णश्च दोर्भवेत् । श्रुतिकृत्यंतरपद कोटिर्दोः कर्णवर्गयोः ॥ ४४ ॥
bhujakoṭikṛtiyogamūlaṃ karṇaśca dorbhavet | śrutikṛtyaṃtarapada koṭirdoḥ karṇavargayoḥ || 44 ||
بازو کے سرے کے جوڑ سے جو ‘یوگ’ بنتا ہے، اس کی جڑ ‘کَرن’ کہی گئی ہے اور بازو اسی کے مطابق ہے۔ کان (کَرن) اور بازو کے درمیان جو درمیانی مقام ہے وہی ‘کوٹی’ ہے، جو بازو اور کَرن کے گروہوں سے وابستہ ہے۔
