गजग्रीष्टकृतिर्व्यैका दलिता चेष्टभाजिता । एकोऽस्य वर्गो दलितः सैको राशिः परो मतः ॥ ३२ ॥

Transliteration

gajagrīṣṭakṛtirvyaikā dalitā ceṣṭabhājitā | eko'sya vargo dalitaḥ saiko rāśiḥ paro mataḥ || 32 ||

Translation

ایک ہی اکائی کو بنیاد مان کر، اسے کم کر کے اور قاعدۂ عمل کے مطابق تقسیم کرنے سے، اس کم شدہ مقدار کا مربع حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ پھر اسی اکائی کو نتیجہ کی راشی مانا جاتا ہے—یہی منیوں کی رائے ہے۔
