परमोपक्रमज्याप्त चापमेपादिगो रविः । कर्कादौ प्रोह्यचक्रार्द्धात्तुलादौ भार्द्धसंयुतात्त ॥ १४२ ॥

پرَم اُپکرم-جیا سے حاصل شدہ قوس کے ذریعے رَوی کی ایک پاد (چوتھائی) حرکت کا حساب کیا جاتا ہے۔ سرطان وغیرہ بروج میں اسے نصف دائرے سے منہا کرو؛ اور میزان کے بعد نصف دائرے کے ساتھ ملا کر نتیجہ لو۔
