स्वरितेद्वै भृञाख्यात उदात्तेद्धाक् प्रकीर्तितः । माङ्हाङ्द्वावनुदात्तेतौ स्वरितेद्दानधातुषु ॥ ४६ ॥

سورِت (svarita) کے باب میں ‘بھृञ’ دھاتو بیان کی گئی ہے، اور اُداتّت میں ‘اِدھّاک’ دھاتو مشہور کی گئی ہے۔ ‘مانگ’ اور ‘ہانگ’ دونوں اَنُداتّت ہیں؛ اور ‘دان’ طبقے کی دھاتوں میں سورِت کا قاعدہ بتایا گیا ہے۔
