अमादयः समुद्दिष्टाश्चतुर्स्रिंशद्धिशाब्दिकैः । द्विसप्ततिमिता मव्यमुखाश्चोदात्तबंधना ॥ २४ ॥

“اما-” سے شروع ہونے والی سلسلہ وار فہرست شابدکوں نے بیان کی ہے—تعداد میں بتیس۔ اسے علمِ صوتیات کی اصطلاحات سے واضح کیا گیا؛ اس کی مقدار بہتر، ‘م’ سے آغاز، اور اوداتّ (بلند لہجہ) کے بندھن سے وابستہ ہے॥۲۴॥
