Matsya Purana — Śrāddha Procedure: Types

ब्रह्मण्यो योगविच्छान्तो विजितात्मा च शीलवान् भोजयेच्चापि दौहित्रं यत्नतः स्वसुहृद्गुरून् //

brahmaṇyo yogavicchānto vijitātmā ca śīlavān bhojayeccāpi dauhitraṃ yatnataḥ svasuhṛdgurūn //

جو برہمنوں اور برہمنیت/برہمی نظم کا وفادار ہو، یوگ کی ریاضت سے پُرسکون ہو، نفس پر قابو رکھنے والا اور بااخلاق ہو، وہ اہتمام سے کھانا کھلائے—خصوصاً دُوہِتر (بیٹی کے بیٹے) کو—اور اپنے دوستوں اور گُروؤں کو بھی احترام سے کھلائے۔
