Adhyaya 81 — Suratha and Samadhi Seek Sage Medhas; Introduction to Mahamaya and the Madhukaitabha Origin Account
visṛṣṭau sṛṣṭirūpā tvaṁ sthitirūpā ca pālane | tathā saṁhṛtirūpānte jagato 'sya jaganmaye ||

The divine is not only transcendent but immanent as the world-process itself; reverence extends to the rhythms of life, change, and endings.
A compact doctrinal articulation of Sarga and Pratisarga (cyclic manifestation and reabsorption).
‘Jaganmaya’ implies non-separateness: the worshipped power and the experienced world are not ultimately two; devotion becomes a path to recognizing that unity.
